Searching across all of Tesoro: the search pop-up
Looking for a client, a property or a deal? You don’t have to go to the right overview first. The search pop-up searches all of Tesoro at once. You open it from any page, and you stay where you were until you pick a result.
When do you use this?
Section titled “When do you use this?”- A buyer calls and you want to see their details right away
- You look up a property by name or reference while you’re working in a deal
- You know an email address, but not whether it’s a lead or a contact
- You want to quickly get back to a record you just had open
Opening the search pop-up
Section titled “Opening the search pop-up”You have three ways:

Searching
Section titled “Searching”- Open the search pop-up.
- Type at least two characters. For example a name, an email address or a reference. The results appear while you type.
- Pick a result. Click it or press
Enter. Tesoro opens the record and closes the pop-up.
What can you find?
Section titled “What can you find?”Results are grouped, always in this order:

A group only appears if something was found. You see a maximum of five results per group.
More than five results: See all results
Section titled “More than five results: See all results”At the bottom of the pop-up is See all results. It opens the full search page with the same search term. There you load more results per group with the Load more button.
No results or an error
Section titled “No results or an error”- No results found: nothing found. Check the spelling, or search for part of the name.
- Something went wrong while searching: the search didn’t succeed. Click Retry to try again.
Recent: quickly back to a record
Section titled “Recent: quickly back to a record”If you open the pop-up without a search term, under Recent you see the records you previously opened via the pop-up. There are up to six, the most recent at the top.
Never opened anything via the pop-up? Then you see the text Search properties, contacts, deals, tasks and more.
