Company profile: company details and standards
Your company profile is your foundation. Company name, time zone, currency — settings that affect the entire office. This article covers the Company Settings tab (General Information section); other tabs have their own articles.
When do you use this?

Company Name
Section titled “Company Name”Required field, just like Timezone. Appears:
- Throughout the entire CRM interface
- In client documents (PDF, proposals)
- In email communication
- In Client Portal

Contact details
Section titled “Contact details”Phone Number auto-validated for international format with + + country code. Not accepted? Check + and country code.
Website must be a valid URL, incl. https://.
Time zone: impact
Section titled “Time zone: impact”Timezone is a required field. Without a time zone you cannot save Company Settings. You will then see the message Timezone is required. The field also no longer has a clear button: you always choose a time zone from the list.
Determines date/time display:
- Creation dates of records
- Timestamps of activities + meetings + tasks
- Timestamps of change history
- Email timestamps + notifications
Logged phone calls get the correct time
Section titled “Logged phone calls get the correct time”Do you log a call manually? Then Tesoro stores the time at which the call actually took place. Previously, that time could shift if your office did not yet have a time zone. The call then appeared to have been made hours earlier or later. That has been fixed.
Currency: impact
Section titled “Currency: impact”Sets the default currency symbol for:
- Property prices + listing values
- Deal values in the pipeline
- Financial overviews + reports
Changing adjusts the symbol, does not convert amounts. All existing values remain numerically the same.
Address
Section titled “Address”Standard address fields:
- Street, City, State, Zip code, Country
Plus cadastral:
- Floor, Building Name, Apartment Number
Next to Street there is a map-pin icon: click to open a map and auto-fill the address fields.
Social media
Section titled “Social media”At the bottom of the Social Media Information section with eight optional platform fields: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Youtube and Pinterest. Used in client communication and transactional emails.
