New-build projects: multiple properties under one umbrella
A developer delivers 34 properties in one project: 24 apartments, 6 penthouses, 4 villas. Instead of 34 separate listings, you create one Project, link the developer as a Relation, and group the properties per typology (variant).
When do you use this?
Section titled “When do you use this?”- A developer delivers a complete phase 1 (15 properties), you register the project
- You have typologies you want to duplicate quickly (see Variants)
- You want project files (general brochure, master plan) in one place
- You receive new-build projects via a RedSP feed and want Tesoro to create the projects itself (see Projects from a RedSP feed)

- the globe icon: is the project on your website? (see below)
- the availability, for example Under Development (green) or Sold out (red)
- the label Featured project, if you highlight the project
- the number of properties, the number of variants, the commission and the tags
Below that you find four tabs.

Use the arrows at the top to go to the previous or next project.
A project on your website
Section titled “A project on your website”A project can get its own page on your website. You turn this on or off in three ways:
- in the edit screen with the Show on website toggle
- on the project page with the globe icon (green = published)
- for several projects at once: tick them in the project overview, click Mass Edit, choose Website under Select field and then Publish on website or Remove from website
Featured project highlights a project. You then see a star with Featured project on the project page.
Typologies (variants)
Section titled “Typologies (variants)”A typology is a construction type within the project:
- “2-bedroom Apartment”
- “Penthouse”
- “Townhouse Type A”
Each typology has its own name, colour code, property list and files. On the Variants tab you see the linked properties per typology.
Projects from a RedSP feed
Section titled “Projects from a RedSP feed”Do you receive new-build projects via a RedSP feed (Real Estate Development - Spain (RedSP-V4))? Then turn on Import Project in the feed settings (see XML import). Tesoro then does the following with every import:
- It creates one project per development from the feed, and one variant per property type.
- It links every imported property to the correct project and the correct variant.
- It links the relation you chose for the feed as developer.
- On a following import it updates the projects. No duplicate projects are added.
First check the automatic data
Section titled “First check the automatic data”The feed does not supply everything. Tesoro derives the name from the street and takes the description from one of the property types. Such a project therefore gets the status Needs review.
- In the project overview you see a notification for half a minute after opening, for example “3 imported projects are awaiting review”. Click Show only these to see only those projects. With Show all projects you see everything again. You can also filter by Review status (Needs review or Reviewed).
- On the project page there is a collapsible bar Feed checklist. It states exactly what is still missing: the real name, a description of your own, the total number of properties, the developer or the project website.
- In the edit screen those fields are marked in orange, with Imported — please review. or Still needed for the feed.
Your changes are kept
Section titled “Your changes are kept”If you adjust a field of an imported project by hand, Tesoro locks that field. The next import no longer overwrites it. That way you can calmly improve the name, description, delivery dates or amenities. The project then gets the status Reviewed.
Sold out and available again
Section titled “Sold out and available again”If the developer removes a property type from the feed because nothing is for sale any more, Tesoro keeps track of that. If no type of the project still has a property in the feed, Tesoro sets the project to Sold out. If properties appear in the feed again, the project gets its previous availability back. Nothing is deleted.
The developer’s advertising rules
Section titled “The developer’s advertising rules”A RedSP feed can supply rules per property about where you may advertise. Tesoro shows them at the top of the property page, in an orange bar: “The developer’s feed sets advertising restrictions for this listing:”. Possible rules:
- A contract with the developer is required before advertising.
- Not allowed on your own website.
- Not allowed on national Spanish portals.
- Not allowed on international portals.
- Not allowed on social media.
- International clients only (non-residents of Spain).
If the developer forbids publication on your own website, Tesoro turns off Show on website for that property with every import.
Editing a project
Section titled “Editing a project”- Open the project page.
- Click Edit at the top.
- Modify the fields. All fields from creation are available.
- Save.
Deleting a project
Section titled “Deleting a project”- First unlink or remove all properties and typologies.
- Open the project and choose Delete.
