Feed Manager: Share Custom Feeds

In addition to the fixed 14 portal connections, you can create custom feeds. Filter + one or more partner agencies = unique URL per agency. Useful for collaborating agencies, affiliated offices, or integrations that can read an XML feed via URL.

When do you use this?

• You share your listings with a collaborating agency
• You supply a feed to an external website or integration
• You want to show a different selection per agency, for example only certain locations, price ranges or tags

Complement to direct portal connections, not a replacement. Use portal connections for Kyero/Idealista/etc., Feed Manager for partnerships and custom integrations.

Creating a feed

1. Open Feed Manager → click Add feed.

2. Basic information:

   Field	Required	Description

3. Filter criteria (section 2. Property filters), expandable panels, fill in what is relevant:

   The system automatically saves this as a dynamic filter.

   Not all required

   No filters = all properties included. Only set what is relevant for the partner agency.

4. Link agencies (section 3. Agencies): click the plus tile, search for the partner agency via Search agencies and click Attach Agencies. Each linked agency appears as its own card with an Active toggle.

5. Save (Ctrl+S / Cmd+S). Auto-status Active.

The XML link exists only after Save

A newly linked agency does not yet have a token, and therefore no link. Tesoro creates the token only during saving. If you don’t see a Copy XML link button yet, first save and then reopen the feed.

Feed URL and tokens

Per linked agency:

https://[your-domain]/feedmanager/feedmanager/fetch-feed/[feed-id]?token=[unique-token]

• URL delivers property data as XML
• Each agency gets its own token = per-agency tracking
• System tracks: request_count (how many times fetched) + last_access (last fetch)

Share only with trusted partners

Anyone with the URL and token can read the feed without logging in.

You copy the link per agency using the Copy XML link button on that agency’s card. The button briefly changes to Copied!.

Pausing or ending a collaboration

Each linked agency has its own Active toggle on its card in section 3. Agencies. That is the tool for a collaboration that is temporarily or permanently stopping, and it is almost always the better choice than deleting the agency.

The difference is larger than it seems. If you set an agency to inactive, their system still receives a valid XML file, just with no properties. Their import won’t crash on an error; the listings simply disappear. If you delete the agency, their connection breaks.

Reactivating restores the same link

If you set the agency back to Active later, the original token is preserved, as are the counters request_count and last_access. The agency doesn’t need to change anything; their existing URL works again. Therefore, when resuming a collaboration, you don’t need to send a new link.

Tesoro continues to count access as long as the link is requested, even if the agency is inactive. So from last_access you can see whether a deactivated agency is still querying your feed.

Managing feeds

Pagination: 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 per page.

Editing

In the Actions column there are two icons: a pencil and a trash can. Click the pencil → the side panel opens with current values → change → Save.

Deleting

Click the trash can → confirmation. URLs stop working immediately.

First remove the agencies

A feed with linked agencies cannot be deleted. Tesoro then reports: “Remove all agencies from the feed before deleting it”. Remove the agencies first, or set them to inactive if you only want to pause the collaboration.

Permanent

Partner agencies using this feed will no longer receive data. Communicate with them before deletion.

Status: Active or Offline

Status	Description

Offline	Deactivated, delivers nothing

Change via Edit. Offline keeps the feed but delivers nothing, handy for temporary pause without deletion.

Filter criteria are dynamic

Filters are saved as dynamic filter and reapplied with each request to the feed URL.

This means automatic updates when:

• New property matches criteria
• Existing property changes so that it no longer/no longer falls into scope
• Property deleted

No manual refresh needed

Portfolio changes → feed adapts automatically on next read.

Eligible statuses

A property appears in a Feed Manager feed if it:

1. Matches the filter
2. Display on Website on
3. Display on Feed on (default off, turn on explicitly)
4. Status in list: Pending Approval, Active, Sold, Rented, Under Offer, Off Market, Negotiating, Under Contract, Open House, Key Ready, Under Construction, Removed by Feed
5. Kyero-compatible validation passed

Common mistakes

Feed shows 0 properties

1. Filter too narrow?
2. Display on Website and Display on Feed on?
3. Status in eligible list?
4. Kyero validation passed (reference, price, type, city, province, bedrooms, bathrooms, description, ≥1 photo)?

Agency complains they receive no data

1. Is the agency itself still set to Active in section 3. Agencies? This is the most common cause. An agency set to inactive receives a valid feed with no properties, so they see no error, just an empty file.
2. Feed status = Active?
3. URL + token still valid (agency not deleted?)
4. Filter result not empty?
